In 2004, ARCH+ published an issue on the accelerated development in China called „Chinese High-speed Urbanism“. A decade later, we have the opportunity to discuss not only Zhang Ke’s architectural thinking but also the conditions of contemporary architecture production in China. Eduard Kögel, who has been contributing editor of the China issue, will join the discussion and enrich it with his critical knowledge on China.
