Chen Kuen Lee and Yau Chun Wong in the light of Hans Scharoun and Mies van der Rohe

In his lecture, Eduard Kögel will examine the development of the works of the two architects Yau Chun Wong and Chen Kuen Lee and discuss how they encountered the architectural heritage of their Chinese homeland and the influence of New Objectivity in their works. For example, Wong combined the formal principles of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe with the tradition of Chinese architecture, while Lee used traditional content to create new forms.
